Hi, it’s me, Mac.
When I first started exploring and hiking with my parents, I really had no idea where it would take me. Sure, I loved hanging my head out the window, and I loved smelling new things most of all– but at first, I thought, have they taken this a little too far?
It took me a minute to get used to the van, but my mom added a bunch of things to make the van more comfortable for me. She added a great suspension to absorb some of the road bumps, she added a 3-D printed window bar for me to help hold my window open (for head-hanging-out purposes), and she found two perfectly-sized memory foam beds for my joints and knees.
Since we started, I have been busy protecting my parents from Squirrels and Bears, and busy smelling America one state at a time. Most importantly, I’ve been meeting America’s dogs one at a time, and on this site, I’ll be reviewing America’s Dog Parks with a 5-paw system: 1 paw for not-so-good, and 5 paws for ‘WOW’– Wonderful DoggO Wonderland’.
I can’t wait to share my own musings from the road with you (And your dogs. Are your dogs cool? Can we be friends?!).
